ABOUT LEX
Hey! I’m Lexie, the Founder of FLXwithLex. I have been in the fitness industry for over 6 years. I coach because I want to lead others to understand that movement is a part of human nature and going to the gym is about training for longevity. My education ranges from functional fitness to athletic performance, injury prevention and injury rehabilitation.
My fitness journey kicked off when I was the smallest yet one of the fastest women on my high school soccer team. The weight room became my second home where I learned how to lift weights. During my high school soccer career I had to sit 2 seasons due to knee surgeries. I wasn’t aware enough at the time to realize the mental and physical toll it took on me. College sports was no longer an option for me, but I was not ready to give up. I attended Kean University and received a BS in Exercise Science and Human Performance. Its all about perspective. I took my pain and turned it into a career.
I must admit, it took me a while to find my place. I coached in various settings like semi private, group fitness, athletic performance, 1 on 1, and rehabilitation strength coaching. My experiences lead me to find my voice and create FLX withLex. A space I can apply the things I’ve learned about both movement and perspective. With FLX I can make them accessible to more people! I even began presenting to Kean EXSC students on “How To Find Your Coaching Voice.” Talk about full circle moments.
My true passion lies with guiding others to discover their untapped potential. Seeing the lightbulb moment when the pieces of the minds puzzle click is what fuels me. I am here to use my experiences to help you take your fitness journey to the next level!
